Piazza della Scala has a strong symbolic value. The squares system of the historical city walls, hosts some of the most important buildings in Milano. The importance of these buildings pushed aside for a very long time the central role of Piazza della Scala, but at the same time it represented for centuries an hall to the public and cultural life of the City.
The Project bring forward the following strategies:
– The Shared Space: the two routes and the central square.
– Two Routes: the strengthening of the historical urban connections.
